Applications for the Richard Williams Scholarship Fund’s Student’s Award are now open, and close on 1 March 2025.

Completed applications should be emailed to apply@rwscholarship.org.au by 1 March 2025.
The successful applicants will be notified by April.
ABOUT THE STUDENT’S AWARD
The Richard Williams Scholarship Fund aims to foster excellence in a chosen field by assisting a student to pursue their passion.
The Fund will award up to $1,000 worth of goods and services to a student of Mordialloc College from any year of study to spend on items that they need to pursue an interest.
Some examples of the items or activities for which the funds could be used include:
- Electronic equipment such as camera, laptop, printer, tablet, scanner
- Entry fees for events or competitions
- Art supplies
- Musical Instrument
- Software such as drawing, movie making, communication, design apps
- Tutorials for activities such as painting/drawing, musical instrument, movie making
- Community project such as mentoring group, theatrical production, landcare/coastcare-type project, pandemic rebuilding project, public artwork
In most cases, the Fund will negotiate the best deal on behalf of the winning applicants, and pay the supplier directly. Alternatively, funds can be provided on a reimbursement basis, upon presentation of a receipt for purchase of the goods.
Scholarship funds must be redeemed by 31 October of the year in which they are awarded, unless otherwise agreed by the RWSF board.
